Sunday School at CtK

Sunday School classes are Sundays, 9am at Oberlin Rd. Middle

At CtK, we believe in the power of Sunday School as a key strategy of our discipleship plan. Just as Jesus engaged in diverse forms of discipleship (1:1, small group, crowd), we also have a multi-tiered discipleship strategy: 1:1 (One to One Bible Reading); small group (community groups) and crowd (Sunday School). Men and women teach Sunday school to all ages. Sunday School at CtK is a vital platform for equipping, training, teaching and community connection. Explore below to learn more about our Sunday School program and how it can enrich your walk with Christ.

Our Sunday School curriculum embraces the three movements of discipleship, guiding participants:

  • Upward: Cultivating a deeper relationship with God through Gospel fluency, Biblical literacy, and spiritual practices.

  • Inward: Discovering your identity in Christ, developing Emotional and Cultural IQ, and pursuing personal holiness.

  • Outward: Displaying God's love to others through evangelism, advocacy for Biblical Justice, and compassionate support.

Sunday School is a Journey for All Ages:

  • Adults: Engage in focused, 6 week courses centered on upward, inward, and outward orientations. Explore relevant topics and connect with fellow believers in a welcoming community.

  • Youth: Discover tailored curriculum designed to meet the unique needs of middle school and high school students. Dive into discussions, activities, and teachings that nurture spiritual growth and maturity.

  • Children: Nurture a love for God's Word and a foundational understanding of faith through age-appropriate curriculum and interactive activities. From Nursery and Toddler Rooms to K-5 classes, children are welcomed with open arms into a safe and nurturing environment.
