old Community Groups

A community group is a gathering of individuals, including both members and non-members of the church. The groups are the best way to get plugged in with others at CTK, and they are also the best way to learn about the church's beliefs and mission in general.

So what should you expect?  The groups are gatherings that meet every other week at church members' houses. Some groups include a dinner as part of their get together, others just have coffee and tea.   Each gathering consists of an unstructured time to talk, a time of prayer, and a discussion about a particular topic or selected reading.

What is most important is that in a community group you will encounter the Holy Scriptures, participate in meaningful soul care, and engage in lively prayer.  These are the three main elements of CTK community group ministry.  To learn more about these three elements, click the links to the right.

Christ the King currently has a number of community groups that meet at all different points around Raleigh.  We encourage people to try to attend one near their home to facilitate community and pastoral care.
