Read the Bible With Us

The Bible is like fire.  Fire is necessary for warmth, for nourishment, for a vibrant life.  The Bible is like that.  It is necessary for spiritual growth, sustenance, and vibrance.

Like fire, however, the Bible should be engaged with care and healthy respect.  Treated in this way, it is a valuable means of spiritual renewal, challenging those who read it to faith, strengthening them with truth, and comforting them with hope.

That is why we believe the prayerful, thoughtful, and regular reading of the Bible is vital to our spiritual health and the health of the church. One way to plan for daily encounters with the Bible is to participate in CTK's Community Bible Reading Project.
