We meet each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. for our worship service at Underwood Elementary School, located off Glenwood Avenue in the Five Points neighborhood. You can access a map and directions by clicking here.
Our simple Christian worship service usually lasts about 90 minutes and includes singing, prayer, a sermon, and celebration of the Lord's Supper. Our service is designed to be accessible to you, whether you've spent your life in the church or have never been to a church service in your life. Each aspect is explained; participation is up to you.
Our service has a mix of traditional and more contemporary elements. Each part of the service is carefully thought out and chosen because it relates to the service as a whole and to the community within which we worship. Childcare is provided for during the service for children through age three. Children ages three through six are given the option of attending a children's teaching time mid-way through the service, after the singing and before the sermon. All children in the service receive a children's bulletin to supplement the adult bulletin. An example of the bulletin can be accessed here. There’s no single standard for what’s appropriate to wear, so use your own judgment. It’s not a black tie affair, but it’s not a pig pickin' either. Your presence is the main thing.
