About Us
There are many ways to define a church—name, denomination, lists of beliefs we hold (and don't hold), people we like (and don't like), and things we do (and don't do). But those are often window dressings that at best mean little to the average person, whether they've spend a lifetime inside the church or have yet to darken a church's door.
While we think it's important that you know what we do, what we believe, and the friends we keep, we also want to make sure you understand the people that make up CTK as well as our hopes for the church and the city we call home.
Recently, the features Religion writer for theRaleigh News & Observer, Yonat Shimron, spent some time with us to explore the Psalms of Ascents. You can read her article . Words can help you understand this. But the best way to find out about us is to join us for our Sunday worship service.
So, read away and ask us a bunch of questions. But also know we would love to show you what we do in person, for we've found that's the best way to get to find out who we are, what we do, why we do it, and how we do it.
